The sweepstakes cash-out allows members to cash-in their Points for a chance to win a prize.
Members are not required to cash-out the full amount of Points available in their account when the sweepstakes option is chosen. In addition, members are not required to have 1,000 Points accumulated to use the sweepstakes cash-out option, but they must have the minimum amount of Points required (varies by sweepstakes) to gain an entry. Generally, a member can enter a sweepstakes as many times as they wish (until the Points available in the account are depleted).
Once a sweepstakes has been entered, the Points will not be returned to the member's account, even if the member is not chosen as a sweepstakes winner. When a member wins a sweepstake, they will be notified via email to arrange delivery details. The initials and general location (city, state, or country) of the winner will be posted on the American Consumer Opinion® website. No identifying information will be posted.
Please read the General Sweepstakes Terms as well as the Specific Contest Rules for each sweepstakes entered.

For completing some screeners (a short survey), you will receive 5 to 50 Points, or an entry into a monthly prize drawing. Sometimes you will receive Points for screeners, but you will always receive Points for surveys. One Point is equivalent to one penny. Therefore, for every 100 Points, the value is equal to one dollar. These Points will accumulate in your Member Account and may be redeemed when you have fulfilled all of the terms of this Agreement.
Once you have earned 1,000 Points, you can redeem your Points for cash (U.S. or Canadian), PayPal funds (most countries), or Hyperwallet (many countries), or you can donate your earnings to a charity. To redeem your Points, log in to your My Account page and choose the Cash-Out option.
If you have fewer that 1,000 Points, you may be eligible to enter one or more sweepstakes. See the sweepstakes details on your My Account page for more information.
You accumulate Points or other prizes for nearly every survey. Usually, Points will be added to your account. You can access your My Account page by clicking on the Login link from the American Consumer Opinion® homepage and typing in your email address and password. You will then be able to view your Points.
Points are collected in your account until you are ready to redeem them for cash (U.S. or Canadian), Hyperwallet funds, or PayPal funds, or for an entry into a sweepstakes (U.S.), or you can donate your earnings to a charity. To redeem Points via a cash-out request, go to the Cash-Out option located on the My Account page. If you request a check, please be sure your mailing address is up to date. Log in to your account, and then click on the Update Contact Information link to verify that your personal information is correct.
If you request payment via PayPal, be sure that the email address associated with your American Consumer Opinion® account is the same as the email address that is associated with your PayPal account. This could be due to many panelists trying to access our website simultaneously. Please try again at a later time. If you continue to have difficulty, please email aparks@acop.com.
Another option is to copy and paste the survey link (provided in the email we sent you) into your browser. The link may be two lines in length, so please be sure to copy and paste the entire link.
First, make sure your answers for each question show up on the screen. If you were required to click on a small circle, make sure there is a dot in each circle that requires a response. Sometimes, when you click quickly on the circle the dot may appear, but it does not stay when you move to the next question.
If you continue to have difficulty, please email aparks@acop.com.
For best results with our surveys, we recommend that you use the most up-to-date version of your Internet browser. If you have an earlier version of your Internet browser, you can update it by going to the maker's website (it's free to update it).
The best browsers to use when taking a survey are, (in order from most used to least used) Chrome, Safari, Firefox, and Internet Explorer.
When you visit a website, your browser stores information like the location of the site you visited, files used to run an online application, and downloads like old versions of forms.
When we update our website or make changes to the survey or survey links, your browser may still use old files. If you don’t clear your cache, you may see old forms. Old files can cause display or access problems.
